Motor Vehicle Accident Reports                 

Did you have a minor motor vehicle accident? If you have be sure to fill out the Massachusetts Motor Vehicle Crash Operator Report form, your insurance company may require it. If the accident occurred in Townsend, you should drop off or mail the form to: Townsend Police Dept., 70 Brookline St., Townsend, MA 01469. DEALER’S (Including Gunsmiths)                                                 $100.00 

(Exception: If Gunsmith License and a Dealer’s license

are issued, the fee for both is $100.00.)

 

LICENSE TO SELL AMMUNITION:                                           $100.00

 

FIREARMS IDENTIFICATION CARD FOR
CHEMICAL PROPELLANT ONLY                                             $ 25.00

(No charge for renewal applications for “Restricted” FID Cards)

 

LICENSE TO CARRY FIREARMS:                                             $100.00

(Includes license to possess machine guns)

 

LICENSE TO CARRY FIREARMS FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT

OFFICIALS, OR LOCAL, STATE OR FEDERAL GOVERNMENT

                         Hours: Tuesday              6PM to  8PM

                                    Thursday          10AM to 12 Noon

Accepted payment for license fees will be check or money order.
